    Default Brass Pricing

I've been collecting brass for a few months now and now I want to turn it into cash.

I'm not really sure on the going rates. What I have is a mix of Once fired brass and range brass. It's not tumbled or deprimed. It's all in good condition

    9mm - 95-100 pounds
    .40 - 45-50 pounds
    .45 - 2000 pieces
    .380 around 10 pounds

Right now it's all in gallon size zip lock bags. What's the best way of selling these? By the pound or by the amount? I don't really want to sit there and sort through and count a 100 pounds of 9mm brass.

Is their dealer or someone who buys brass in bulk?

Most folks sell/buy by the thousand. Make sure you sort out any unusable cases in the mix. A simple search will give you current pricing. Shipping is cheapest in USPS flat rate boxes.

Not really, for .45 I'm getting between 40-100 bucks for a 1000. I'm just looking for some rough rates estimates so i can move this brass and put it towards something

I'll bet the $40/M brass is gone in a heartbeat and the $100/M bras is still available. Look and see what stuff sells for, not what it's offered at.

Between 1.40 and 1.50 at the scrap yard. I do trade my own once fired brass to a fellow at the club. Since I cannot verify if the stuff others leave is really once fired I don't sell it as such. But my own I do know. He gives me a box or two of reloads. It's informal, he sees what I have and gives me whatever he feels it's worth to him. The rest is scraped.
    When the SHTF......be the fan.
