need recommendations on a pocket holster for my PF9

anyone pocket carry? looking for suggestions on a good pocket holster that doesn't cost a fortune, but good enough to work well.

I've heard good things about the Desantis Super Fly. I'm also looking at the Uncle Mike's #4 pocket holster. The Desantis is almost $40 where the Uncle Mikes is only $13.

I'll be carrying my PF9 in the holster.

I carry a PF9 and tried the uncle mikes to bulky and wound up making a pocket holster very easy to do with some leather and thread. The PF9 is not the best pocket gun wanted it to be but is just to damn uncomfortable and a little to big so I made a nice IWB. Good luck

Black hills leather in Laredo, Texas can make anything you want to your specs. I got my holster from them and its definitely worth the money ($85 and worth every penny, you just can't get truly custom gunleather for less). I had an unlce mikes duty holster snap right off my duty belt during defensive tactics/ORT training and I wasn't fond of it to begin with.

I agree, it's not the best gun for pocket carry. I prefer to carry mine in a Don Hum IWB holster. I can carry it all day and never realize it's there.

I tried carrying it in a Mika pocket holster, but it just wasn't what I wanted.

You need the DeSantis nemesis, cheaper than the superfly and avaialable at most gun stores, its what i use for my small guns in 2 different sizes , small for my Ruger LCP and medium for my Bersa, Kafhr CW9, Sig 232, Walther ppks

Maybe it's the pants I wear, lol. Come to think of it I probably only have one or two pairs of pants / shorts that have deep pockets.

I was carrying my PF9 in a crossbreed supertuck (completely undetectable even under a t-shirt). Now that it's summer, when I don't want to bother with putting on the holster, I throw my PF9 in a desantis nemesis. It does create a bulk in my pocket, but does not print. I have actually found it quite comfortable and find myself pocket carrying all the time now.

I ordered a #3 uncle mike's pocket holster...we'll see how I like it in a few days.
