    Well maybe they made up for the nice case hardening by slapping a Custom Shop MIM thumb safety on there!

    I kid, I kid...

    But the gun looks kinda silly, IMO... The most outlandish Gun Of The Month type 1911 I've seen from Kimber yet, actually... And that's saying a lot.

    I think she's a beauty.

    Case hardening the frame hearkens back to the days of the M1873, otherwise known The Colt Single Action Army.

    Ivory grips on a blued 1911 are the class of presentation grips. And since it's a Centennial it deserves to be engraved. Imo, it would look at home in Patton's gun belt.
