    Default NcStar scope?

Is a NcStar scope worth buying? I've never seen them before and don't know if they are any good. I just want something I can use out to 300 yards.

I'd be surprised if you could see much passed 100-150yds w/ a ncstar, def not 300yard material. Atleast in my experience.

My experience is the opposite. I have one on my RRA 308, don't ask, it came in a package deal. My iron sights cost more However, I was amazed with the performance. We were shooting on the 300 yard line. Got to the point that I was making head shots with 147 silver bear, no shit! I was shooting with two members on here, they can attest to it. I have whacked crows even further I would not have bought it to begin with, but I am glad I have it. That said, when I get the "kitchen credit", I will upgrade, but for now, it works great!

Be safe (and use the equipment that the chinese military use).

IMHO, Not sure an NCStar scope is worthy of putting on a potato gun...let alone shoot to 300 yds.

I mounted one of these for my cousin, a 3x9x40 model on a Remington 770 .243, it didn't survive the first trip to the range. This scope would have been better suited to hammer nails, and it wouldn't be very good for that either.

Had one briefly. A very poor optic. I would apply the money to something a little better.

Thats what I'm gonna do. I just never heard of them before. I haven't found many good things about them on the 'net so far.
