    Default Tactical Laser/Light

I'm thinking about buying a new Tactical Light with a laser, but i saw crimson trace laser, and they are really nice. Any thoughts or suggestions either way?

Depends on your uses, it's next to impossible to conceal a pistol with light and laser, if your house gunning only get the light/laser combo, if your looking at multiple roles for your pistol, get a light and the crimson tace grips.

If you mean to carry concealed, I can understand it being more of a challenge. I still can't find a holster that will support a light rail accessory light/laser. That is one reason I am looking into the crimson grip laser. I can always carry the Surefire if necessary. I am trying not to have to though. If you mean cancealing yourself in no or low light, I have seen the splashing on/off switches which are great. I have multiple pistols so I could use them specific purposes if need be. However, the rail light/laser can be switched between different weapons. Crimson does not make lasers for the XD that I know of. I do carry concealed, I do like to have it for home protection, and when I get a job, I may use it there also. Tough to find one for all three, so I may split it up for different uses.

Well the option I would suggest is a costly one, get the Crimson Trace laser for the Glock and either a streamlight TLR-2 or a Insight M6. That way you can still have a laser on your carry gun and keep the XD as the house gun.

I have seen holsters that will acomodate a Glock with the M6, but it's meant for duty and would be very hard to hide.

costly as it is, it sounds reasonable. i looked at the M6 and it sounds GREAT! I have however, not found any good holsters even for duty. I carry the Glock in a blackhawk SERPA holster under a hooded sweatshirt and it works fine. What duty holster are you talking about?

I think the dutyholster for his Glock with the M6 was made by...either Uncle Mikes or Bianchi, I'll have to call him tomorrow and ask.

    Cool Re: Tactical Laser/Light

Was looking at the grip laser by LaserMax ( http://www.lasermax.com/ ). It seemed like a great addition my snub nosed S&W airweight that I carry in my pocket. Anyone ever used one of these?

Figured I would try once more. Anyone ever used any of the laser sights on smaller caliber pistol. Was thinking about getting one for a J-frame snubbie. Any recommendations from you guys. Any pros and cons.

I tried carrying concealed witha light, didn't work.

you donlt really need a light on your carry piece since 87% of all SD shootings happen within conversation distance.

My best advice would be to get a light/laser combo and just snap it onto your gun before you go to sleep.

The TLR-2 is a nice LED/Laser combo, and the TLR series is considered the best on the market at this time.

The M6 is a good light, and by good, I mean, it launches off your gun while you're shooting.
