Re: rimfire multigun match
When ;you say multi gun, I assume you mean two gun rifle and pistol? Will there be a need for holsters and mag carriers? How many rounds in the rifle? Is there a web site with the rules?

Re: rimfire multigun match
The intention was a pistol a speed rifle ( CQB if u will ) and a precision rifle. Use what ever works best.
Magazine capacity - pistols 10, rifles 25
No need for mag pouches or holsters but if u got em and want to use them that's fine too
Open except for mag limits is open
Limited, primary rifle may have one optic pistol and any other rifle iron sights, no comps ect ect.....
There will be over 300 targets to engage.
Sorry, no dedicated web sight. Post ur questions here or email me.
Thanks, ChrisLast edited by Chris M; June 12th, 2010 at 01:16 AM.

Re: rimfire multigun match
This is sounding better and better.
Some specifics:
1. Handgun will there be reloads required on the clock?
2. CQB rifle, I'd be shooting a Marlin 795, so would have to reload, no doubt on the clock, approx how many rounds for the longer stages?
3. Precision Rifle, approx. how many shots on the clock? The reason I ask is that I have two candidates, a bolt gun that is somewhat more accurate than my Semi. Long strings would probably favor the semi, but???

Re: rimfire multigun match
Very interested. Have to check my work schedule. Keep us posted. My understanding is in the limited class, we can have one rifle with optics, one with iron sights and a handgun with iron sights. What about transitions between guns during stages. If holsters are not required, how are we going about that. I've never competed in a multi-gun match but I'm interested in this.
It's all fun and games, til someone shoots your bobber!

Re: rimfire multigun match
Stages will have between 40 and 70 targets. 6 of the 7 stages require reloading on the clock, including the long range stage. The will be tables to ground and retrieve guns. U WILL NOT need slings or holsters but can use them if u can demonstrate to me that u can do so safely.
