m&p barrel
I'm thinking of getting a 9mm barrel and mags and or a 357 sig barrel for my m&p 40 so i can shoot three different calibers out of it... anyone know where i can get one cheap that is of good quality? I'm thinking 357 sig, but not sure what that round would do differently thant the 40 Smith and wesson... i'm thinking the 9mm barrel and magazines for when my sister goes shooting with me because the 40 is a little too much for her and she likes to shoot my gf's m&p9c... also 9mm ammo is a little bit cheaper than 40 cal.
it'd be really cool if i could find a 22 conversion kit for it like how glocks have.
i did find this...
smith and wessom 9mm conversion barrel
does the regular m&p barrel work?

Re: m&p barrel
be careful of aftermarket barrels with tighter chambers, especially on a conversion. I am unaware of how the barrel fits into the slide, so that may be a concern. If you measure the OD of your .40 barrel, I can measure the 9mm OD.

Heard good things about Storm Lake:

A lot of M&P owners use their threaded barrels.
