Need some trade advice

Hey guys and gals! I just went to a gun show looking for a revolver. I've been wanting one for a while. I found a new Taurus Airlite revolver for $459.00. The guy told me he'd do an even trade for my Glock 17. I have no attachment to the Glock, although my daughters love to shoot it. Can anyone tell me whether this would be a good or bad trade?

To me...the G17 is big for you (seen your family picture)...so I'd say trade it...if you want the Taurus....I am not a fan of Taurus semi's, but their revolvers are suppose to be decent. Just keep in mind that the lighter/shorter barrel revolvers have more muzzle flip...if the Taurus has a ported barrel...it will be much louder to shoot as well. Is the Taurus airlight the 357mag? and what barrel length are you looking to purchasing?

Darn! I forgot to ask the barrel size! duh! It looks to me to be 2-3 inch...no longer than that. And yes, it's a .357mag. Let's just say that you could fit it in your front jean pocket.

If it's ported...I'd pass...ported barrels will make you go def if you shoot them without hearing protection.
