Pffttt....who takes sick time when they're really sick?
Accrued paid time off (sick or vacation) is money in the bank, if it's there to take, then game on.

Congrats on the new bike. Nothing quite as sweet as the smell of a new bike motor cooking the paint from the inside out on that first ride.

I was gonna say...I hope you get rid of that hideously ugly ft. high seat!...lol

Not to drag this off topic.. but I have "flex days" and can use them for whatever purpose I see fit.

Glad to see the guy didn't actually try and grab your firearm. That would have been a very bad mistake on his part.

Well only 2 dealers around there. Schaeffers, good people mix of customers and Classic down by Reading which was a real dealer back in the day when the old owner was on the triple deuce below Reading.
HD dealers are about 80% full of yuppies these days so why would you expect any less?
My stomach turns almost every time I walk in a HD dealership.

    Only 80% full..... most days I think it's 98%

I dread anytime I need to go to one for a part or well anything.... But then again it only to pick up what I've ordered by phone, usually over a month before....

Guess I don't qualify as a yuppie since I've bought mine in 74... in a box of parts with a frame attached

LOL my son worked at the Keith Code Superbike School at NJ Motorsport Park a couple weeks ago. They are using the BMW S-1000RR, 193 horses 400+ pounds, slipper clutch, electronic stability control, wheelie control and traction control.
He said they are insane fast.

Sorry to return to the original topic. I carried a 1911a1 in uniform for 15 years or so as a police officer in N.J. I had quite a few other police officers and citizens discreetly mention to me that my gun was cocked.

I think I was one of the last cops in N.J. to carry that inherently dangerous (and cocked!) pistol.

When I was at my father's the first time with my 1911 he said "Your Gun is cocked". Like I did not know. I unloaded and showed my father and his girlfriend what all needed to to be done to fire the pistol.
