That's the one, Steve. The covered shooting positions is very nice, especially when it's raining out. It's also nice to have a rifle range that extends out to 200 yds.

From WIlkes-Barre you have several choices among the free PGC ranges.
Either off Rt 118 near Red Rock, along the river near SGL #127 (Gouldsboro), offf Rt 93 out past Weatherly, the one down by Mainville and one or two up Scranton way. We used to have a real close one up on Suscon Rd in Pittston Twp but it is closed down (hopefully only temporary).

SGL
I usualy shoot SGL on 118.
I hate traveling even that far
I'm prety sure the one on suscon rd is closed for good
I used to belong to the LCLEO range just around the corner on Bald Mt Rd before they moved. It was beautiful there. It was never busy, was really close to home, and had the nicest outdoor facility i've seen.
Wish someone would open an indoor range near by.The only easy day was yesterday
Does anyone know the number for 9-1-1?

From what I heard suscan will be down for a long while. Once again the PSGC mismanged funds and it will take a back seat.

Re: All by myself
This is my first post but your definatley not alone seeing as I'm in Hazleton. Good to see there is a forum for us PA folk specifically.
You take my life, but I take yours too! You fire your musket, but I run you through! So when your waiting for the next attack, you better stand there's no turning back! The bugle sounds as the charge begins, but on this battlefield no one wins! The smell of acrid smoke and horses breath, as you plunge into a certain death!

Re: All by myself
Your not alone, I'm from Pittston. And I know there are more in the area. I see two OC'ers in the pittston walmart all the time and I know of one guy who is always hanging out in west pittston around the penns mart who also OC's. I my self do not OC too much but am planing on it as soon as I get a good retention holster for my new glock 23.
P.S.
Please feel free to PM about any get shooting outings or get together's. I would be all about meeting my fellow gun love's in my area.
John
