870 capacities??
can someone tell me the capacity of the 870 marine magnum and the 870 express tactical in "xxx + 1" format? also, do they come with magazine extensions? how big? is this already factored into the "xxx + 1" capacity?
thanks, i know this is kind of a dumb question but everywhere has them listed with different numbers due to whether they are including +1, or extensions and whatnot so im a bit confused. even remington's website is vague.

Re: 870 capacities??
I have the nickel plated 870 with the extension tube and the 18" barrel. The mag tube will hold six 2 3/4" shells. If you use 3" shells you can get 5 in the tube.

Re: 870 capacities??
I have the 870 Tactical and it holds six in the tube. The regular 870 holds 4 and this has a plus 2 extension installed from Remington.
This is the one I have.

I have the 870 Marine Mag, and it holds 6 rounds of 2"3/4 in the tube, +1 in the chamber.

Re: 870 capacities??
I have an 870 Express that I put a Wilson Combat +2 extension on and it holds 6 shells in the magazine tube now, 2 3/4" or 3". The standard capacity is 4 shells. A +1 extension is meant for a law enforcement 870s with the 14" barrel.
