Constitution Center Topic - "Can government ban handguns?"
I saw reference to this in the Daily Local - an Editorial - this morning. I really don't get what's going on... it looks like they have a live, interactive webcast with students, and the topic is government banning handguns, for this Thursday.
It would be interesting to hear the arguments in support of a "yes" answer, wouldn't it?

Can government prohibit citizens from owning handguns?

The debate about the Second Amendment is once again in the national spotlight, as the Supreme Court considers whether the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms applies to the states as well as to the federal government. The question presented to the Court is whether the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms is incorporated against the states by the Fourteenth Amendment’s “Due Process Clause.”Tommy610, NRA Member, Romans 12:18
