    Ok, ok Sharpshooter88... I'll shoot a 357 ultra-lite, but I won't enjoy it...

Sorry for misunderstanding you on this. My question originally was why not buy the 357 and just shoot 38's? When I picked out my sp101 it was funny but I could barely tell the difference between the 38 chambered one and the 357. I of course bought the 357. I know there are smaller lighter 38's out there and was wondering if that was the only reason people were choosing to still get the 38.

I carry a 38 snubbie with rubber pachmyer grips. This offers better control, and softens the felt recoil. Does it bark??? Yep. Hey, its a tiny little pistol shooting a reasonably big round compared to most smaller pocket guns. And no 357 frame is as small as my S&W airweight.

Does it kick. Sure does. And if you ask your wife if your 45 kicks the first time she shoots it, she will say it does. It takes a bit to get use to. Like any pistol.

I like mine. I can blast off five rounds with great control. I shoot the Corbon DPX solid brass bullet that gives reliable and great expansion. Excellent penetration and great hard surface penetration. Cheap?? NO WAY. But a good self defense round usually isn't.

I carry it cause it is small. Easy to carry. And RELIABLE for a pocket pistol. And I like it alot.
The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....
The day they want my guns, they'll have to bring theirs!!!
