Thumbs down Re: HUGE DUI CHECKPOINT ON RT320 and RT 3

We were driving down bethlehem pike right outside of philly at 7pm last tuesday and the local cops had a huge shakedown underway. Not sure if it was seatbelts, dui, racial profiling or just whatever-we-can-get-you-for. We got flagged through. Won't be driving through that area or buying ANYTHING from their merchants from now on.

And what happens when the cop wants to be a jerk and sets the device for 35mph in a 40mph zone, or 35mph in a 35mph zone? If you're going 36.5mph you're going to get pulled over. What kind of BS is that...

Please dont get me started on this....I am 100% against drinking and driving and I have no problem with UNSAFE drivers being stopped but this is too much....I could go on for a long time.

driving is not a right. i've only been thru one DUI check points, they asked if i had anything to drink, i said no, and on my way, this was around 11pm. i didn't have a problem with it, it didn't take more then a minute. the only problem i saw was that if i was a criminal or a drunk, all i had to do was make a Uturn, cause you call see the flashing light a mile away.
