Nice choice on Kahr. love my Kahr MK40. just clean out the striker pin area (ask Ryan about that). I didnt find much shavings in mine but did find more then other guns I have. his CW9 had more shavings in there from the factory.

i am doubtful i will be making this shoot, i've been in and out of the hospital this past week for my back. the CT scan shows "an Abnormality" in my upper spinal column. the neurosurgeon at the hospital said it was not too serious but it needs taken care of. i'm waiting on gettin an MRI and then seeing another surgeon.

bummer about the back... all that from slipping on the ice last year? oh yeah and hitting your head on the truck ...

I actually have the Apex trigger kit, I'm just waiting for the gun to install it in.

Sorry to hear about your situation.

Have you delegated out whatever needs to happen to run the shoot in your absence?

I can do the sign-in again.
I know the routine for turning in the money, so that's taken care of.

The main concern is that the gate is open for non members and that someone has a key to the shed so we can get our targets set up.

thanks for doing sign in again EM, i'll make sure someone gets the key for the shed, but we need to get Ira to make sure the Combo building disarms at 0700 so i can have a member get the gate cards from the safe.

I let her shoot my CW9 and tried to explain about cleaning out the striker pin channel.

Chris that sucks about your back, but at least they are aware of it. Heal quick man!

Hans - don't believe everything the docs tell you. Work for keeping your fingers if you can! I wish you a speedy and 100% recovery.

I had posted that I am a "newbie" - basic experience - but with a sincere desire to become a good and safe shooter- who shot at Wexford SGL and was looking to hook up with other shooters, hopefully instructors and classes to gain proficiency.

I'll be there, and really looking forward to it.
