New to the area
Hey all,
I just moved to Levittown from Reading area. I am fairly new to the sport and I was wondering if anyone knew of a friendly place to shoot trap, skeet, or even sporting clays. Also, I just got my first pistol (S&W 22A1) just to plink and direction to a cheap/free range for that as well would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You may want to check the Pennsylvania State Federation of Sportsman Clubs website.
http://www.pfsc.org/index.html
Find club links and go from there.
Also the http://www.pennarifleandpistol.org/
There may be clubs that have these types of functions there.

Welocome to our area & diito on Langhorne Rod & Gun Club's free Thurs night skeet,I'm a member there & it's well worth it to join if you're going to do much target. Ready Aim Fire is an indoor pistol range right off Rt 13 & Green Ln at 5800 Ellwood Ave at the Levittown Bristol border you might want to check out as well.As far as free don't know of anything in the area & cheap is a relative term, what's cheap to one may seem expensive to the next

Re: New to the area
Thanks everyone! Monday night I went to Fairless to shoot some trap. Nice club. If I get out of work early enough I'll have to go to Langhorne this Thursday. No such thing as too much trap! I'll also bring my 26" barrel in case it's skeet.

The "Fairless" club you mention is Falls Township Rifle and Pistol. The first and third Sundays of the month is open to the public for Sporting Clays from 9-3. Trap shooting is open to the public on Monday nights from 6-9.
Lever gun silhoutte is open to the public on the second Sunday of the month starting at 8 am.
There are other events open to the public. Check the web site. www.ftrpa.com
