    Default S&W Model 36

Here is a photo of my newest addition...

    S&W Model 36
    Serial #: 167xxx
    Square butt.

The box came with a registration card marked 1955...

Any ideas on grips for this classic lady?

    Thanks in advance!

    Nice 36.
Looks like it was made sometime between 1958 and 1961.
Is it a flat latch or do you have a picture of the other side of the gun??

Check under the right grip panel and see if it's serial number matches the guns.
If you change the grips, make sure you hold on to those original diamonds.

I'm with triggerhappy, PLEASE don't put Goodyears on that classic Smith.
