Nat'l Geo's "Ghost Guns"
How come what used to be an educational channel is now devoted to linking law-abiding gun owners to criminal gun trafficers and users? :-(
Oh. Wait. That was a dumb post....

Re: Nat'l Geo's "Ghost Guns"
Lowest common denominator, they produce what will generate the most revenue for the smallest investment. While cable channels used to be specialized they are all turning into one giant putrid swamp. The problem, which is shared by every American industry, is that the people who run it went to college to learn how to make money, not quality.

I think it's interesting that a few days after the new CEO of Discovery channel came out and said there wouldn't be anymore crap like the Anaconda special they air a new show called "Great Big Swords" which is nothing but total crap.
His statement made it sound as though they were going to return to more of the educational type shows that they used to air. But it seems as though they're going to air that stuff on their premium channels.Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.
