When asked how to describe Liberals and Conservatives..
Conservatives are the Ants and Liberals are the Grasshopper in the fable.. We just do and get along.. when Winter comes and they are freezing and hungry they demand the ants share and care for themRetired US Army

Where are the stats to back up their concern? Crime Prevention Resource published the opposite.

With the amount of crime committed in DC, you might see an increase in shootings, for the mere fact, tourists won't be at a disadvantage anymore when being help up by thugs. Once the thugs get the memo that more are carrying, they will either get with it or end up taking the room temperature challenge.
Being able to carry anywhere will be a game changer for the better.

As a tourist, you will essentially never be able to carry in the toursisty area of DC.
Every building has a metal detector and every building is a GFZ. I got asked to leave with a griptiallian knife.
DC will just make everything a GFZ and go on a crack down enforcing that, which indirectly negates a citizen's right to carry.Una Salus Victis Nullam Sperare Salutem

Re: The risk that concealed carry reciprocity poses to D.C
John Lott wrote a piece that provided a mapped out graphic that showed this. There's literally no places in the main areas of DC that one could legally carry even with a permit, since they are either federal buildings or GFZ's.
That will be the next court case: GFZ that are arbitrary and capricious in their discrimination against the 2nd Amendment.

What it poses a threat to is their ideology which can only exist in a vacuum.

"To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic." -- Ted Nugent
