    is there any verbal questionnaire or just fill out the form and be done with it?

    great. i was going to send it in the mail but i dont think i can wait lol i'll probably just run to bellefonte monday. i'll just print the form out and fill it out to take with me.

    Yep, that's all there is to it. Sheriff Nau is very gun friendly and Pro 2A. If you want to get info NFA items, he has no problems signing your forms.

    Just remember to take a checkbook to pay the fee. If you have cash you
    need to go to another county office and pay as the sheriff's dept doesn't
    (or didn't) accept cash.

    I believe I saw someplace that the regulations for PA issuing localities was changing in March or April. You'll now need to appear in person with ID and have a photo taken for a permit card.

    Currently you only need mail in the application, fee and photo to be issued a permit.

    Centre County Sheriff website doesn't note this so perhaps I'm mistaken but I'm pretty sure I saw this someplace.
