    Sar K2 .45 - 51 1/4 oz. loaded, with 14 in the magazine.

No aftermarket support, and holsters are few.

Other than that, I love it. It's a tack driver that kicks like a .32

I'm jealous, I should have bought one of those back when they were cheaper. Now I don't know if they even import them, but last time I saw one it was @ $500.

Full sized 1911 is probably the biggest I go. I just got a new holster for my gp100, so it'll get some more carry time now. It's only a 3"barrel though. Anything longer than the 1911 and it starts being uncomfortable sitting for me. Weight doesn't bother me, the length does though.

Glock 21 but I plan to downsize to a 27 in the future.

I've carried an FNX-45 Tactical on occasion but it requires a large shirt/ jacket and a lot of standing.

What's more important: length or width?

That's almost like an IWB/OWB argument. Need a balance of the two.

Theres's more than a 10 ounce difference between the guns. I would guess that 8 rounds of 45 (I carry with 7 round mags) weighs *less* than 6 rounds of 41 magnum.
My Taurus 1911 with magwell and empty mag comes in right around 42oz, so I'd say they should feel pretty close to the same weight-wise when loaded. Of course, I balance mine out with 2 spare 8-round mags...

P.S. - Pretty rig, BTW. I'm just not a revolver guy.
