Wow House Bill 2536 just gets introduced on May 25, 2010 with only 15 sponsors and ALLREADY gets a vote on June 8, 2010, how many years did it take to get a vote on castle doctrine legislation in this same committee with over a hundred sponsors.

You should all be warned IF they ever get a majority of anti-gun votes in the house you will be amazed at just how fast PA will be turned into the most anti-gun state in the country.

Yet a vast majority gun owners will pretend this can’t happen here in PA, well just so you know FOAC will stand in their way whether you support them or not.

People BETTER start getting involved soon or get ready to deal with the consequences of inaction & indifferance!

Correct, i was just able to confirm this with Casorios Office. They are Opposed to HB 2536 and i gave Casorio some great talking points to use if i can't make it to Harrisburg that day.

Start the Phone tree People!!! light up the Judiciary Committees lines again.

Video from Fox 29 on the subject:

    http://www.myfoxphilly.com/dpp/news/...in-pa-gun-law-

Not sure how old it is though cause they don't have a date on the damn page. Idiots.

Listening to the audio now (no idea how I didn't see it before!) - it seems like Lentz doesn't believe in "innocent until proven guilty". And to think he used to be a prosecutor.

They want to be able to arrest people when the police "know they're up to no good", but don't have any actual evidence. Lovely.

Listened to the Press Conference - the lies were disgusting.

One point put forth by either MAIG or CeaseFire (forget which) was that FLA and Utah, etc. don't have proper background checks.

FLA and Utah have the same background check process as PA, don't they all use NICS?

    What would be our defense?

That PA uses PICS and NOT NICS?

That Philadelphia has a biased City Hall and they do not follow state regulations?

That a man arrested nine times without being convicted is either illegally being targeted, or another display of how our prosecutors failed us a residents?

How since he was not convicted of a crime he deserves all the rights of a general citizen?

    "innocent until proven guilty" ?

Great job IronSight! I wish I could rep you. Unfortunately after about 30:00 it gets hard to decipher. Until "Oh dear me I think I left this thing on through those entire conversations!"

    lol.

WhiteFeather and Falcn: thank you for posting the email addresses! I sent a letter - the first time for a gun-related bill. Thanks for the heads up, everyone!

Sent a letter.... didn't hurt did it?
when this gets stopped everyone that sent letters can feel proud of yourself for doing your small part to make a differance.

welcome to the activist world of being part of the solution, instead of just doing nothing except complaining about the problem.

Don't let be your last time taking direct action

we can sure use help on HB 40 as well....

    TY for contacting the reps
