Red Lion
Moving to Red Lion. Can anyone recommend gun shop(s), ranges, etc? Thanks!

Re: Red Lion
Local smaller shops are Layman's, Terry the owner in a member of the Windsor Fish and game and an all around good guy.

Hakes is also good people and supplies the guns my motorcycle club raffle off every year.

Stoney Brook is also good I have enjoyed many conversations with the owner Jon (John)?.

For big stores I really like Trop Gun in Elizabethtown.

Trop's really is a great store they are relocating to a Mega Building with a range and restaurant. I just hope they don't change the core of what has made them great in doing so.
I don't want to leave out the Gun Bunker, small but I have enjoyed every visit and I have purchased several firearms there.
Freedom Armory, Larger story with a range. Some people here are spectacular and other rub me the wrong way but I don't think they mean to it is just the way they come across. I stop in here regularly as they are convenient in my travels.
Trop's is you best bet for ammo and reloading supplies.
Look me up when you get to Red Lion

Re: Red Lion
All the shops listed are good. Ranges are all over the countryside and all of them you need a sponsor to get in to. I like to go to West Shore Sportsman's Association because its a large clubhouse and they allow hot ranges where you can draw from the hip etc. It's a bit of a drive up 83 but worth it to me. If you don't want to drive that far , well I'm sure someone will be along to give other ideas.

Re: Red Lion
www.tacticalsubmission.com is right down the road from you. They are a FNH LE/Mil dealer and stock a bunch of other items LE related. No storefront, but you can call em and pick up your order. Have used em a handful of times, both purchasing a rifle and ordered some items to ship over here to APO.

Re: Red Lion
I'm also near Apple Ford in Red Lion.
I can highly reccomend Gun Bunker in Shrewsbury. Like mentioned above, they're small, but the place is usualy packed full.
Hakes in Wrightsville is another good one. The nice thing is, if you know how to go, both are really close. As is Freedom Armory in Glen Rock.
Feel free to PM me if you'd like. I've lived in Red Lion most of my life and might be able to help with other questions too.
Welcome to the area!
