Do not ccarry at Penn State/ Hershey medical centers
Took our baby for a checkup at a Harrisburg Drs office, the LPN who checked us in noticed a bulge on my right side, completely concealed, asked if I was carrying, being honest I said yes, and I’m licensed and trained to do so, he said if the office manager finds out I’ll be asked to leave, he leaves the room and comes back 2 mins later stating the office manager miraculously found out, and I have to leave or store in my vehicle. First of all don’t lie to me, you told the office manager, second of all, time to change Dr and hospital choice. Ridiculous.

When I change doctors, I'd be sure to tell them why. Not just because they don't want you to have a gun, but because you were lied to. You need to be able to trust the people tasked with keeping you healthy and they made that impossible.
Telling them you changed doctors "because you can't have a gun there" would simply make them happy you are gone.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

I while-heartedly agree. She attempted to ruin your day to meet her idealistic concerns. In turn, ruin her career by enforcing your rights to have complete faith and trust in the Dr/patient equation. She destroyed that for you.

Do what you must but the medical system could care less how many times or how often you change doctors or even why for that matter.

For the most part a legal gun toting citizen is an honest, hard working citizen who is one of the least dangers to society. Kind of late now but having learned from your experience I would tell that nurse to go tell the manager to come tell me in person.

The incident is horrible. That said, get something out of it. Concealed means nobody can pick it out. In Florida the pricks charge you from what I read.
