Well to be fair I just read the other day that only 40% of Vaginas citizens voted in their last state election and that's up from 29%. I believe I read that in a Bearing Arms article but it's right here for all to see.

The gerrymandering of districts by Eric Holders Obama funded org and Bloomberg payoff's and by in's are what ultimately sealed the deal especially since dems won this out by a very very thin margin.

This Republic will someday fail and become a socialist state due to the fact the average citizen does not participate in self governance and gun owners should be doubly ashamed.
Why does it [even] matter? The 1791 Bill of Rights and each state's constitution are there to LIMIT government from doing this sort of crap. The question should be "why are we letting this happen"? Meaning, why are we letting tyrants get away with creating illegal laws and then why are we obeying them? When the light is shed it exposes the fact we're all guilty of letting these progressives do what they want...

So 40% of Vaginas citizens voted. Which means 60% did not vote.
But that's no indication of whether or not they are gun owners or 2A Advocates.
For all we know; the 60% could be all anti-gun voters.

So then gun owners knowingly voted for rabid anti gunners who ran pretty much solely on the anti gun Bloomturd funded platform and now they are pissed?

well clearly more liberal voters showed up then gun owners in that 40% turn out no? I would have to believe that a historically deeply red state has a lot more conservative voters who did not show up that day somewhere in that 60%

I find it interesting that 87 of the 94 counties went full blown "2A Sanctuary", but they lost seats in those counties.....Bloomberg and Soros have had their sites on VA for a long time and now they're moving on to PA.

I saw an interview with the president of the VCDL a week or two ago where he laied out the steps that lead to it and yes some where interference but he also said poor voter turn out due to people being to comfortable in relying on what has always been vs what we are looking at now if we do not get involved and follow the trends.

There quite a few members here that are very pro gun but state they will not be voting for Trump again this year because he isn't pro gun enough which I agree with, however I know the alternative and it's Virginia on the federal level. I am sure there are a lot of people like this on the state level who don't show up for the same reasons. Some things suck but we just need to accept and take it to the courts but we cannot just sit back and give it all away either because you aint going to get it back once it's gone.

    Correct.

First; sorry if my edit is not what you meant to say.
We can ASSUME that of those 60% of non-voters that some are pro-gun. BUT we have no proof of that or what percentage.
It could all of them, absolutely none of them, somewhere in between, and not know if it would have been enough to make a difference.

Sorry; but I'm just tired of hearing gun owners did not get out and vote. My own personal experience shows otherwise.
So I'll say again to all those who keep saying not enough pro-gun people did not vote. SHOW ME THE PROOF.

Is anybody really surprised that the Dems completely ignored the rally and went on with their anti-gun program? The next step will not be door to door confiscations, as that would probably kick off the boogaloo that everyone talks about. Instead, it will be a case by case prosecution of those unlucky enough to get caught up in the legal system. Stopped for speeding, car searched legally or illegally, gun or standard cap magazine found, then the book gets thrown at the victim.
Say something in a public space that triggers some liberal looney toon? The boys stop by your house one night, find some stuff, and the unlucky victim goes to jail for a while.

That's how they will play this, until either they get unelected, or the public gets sick of their good guy neighbors getting railroaded and decide to do something about it. Once you lose at the polls, it gets way tougher from there! In a perfect world, one would hope that a big organization (think NRA) or a wealthy person would clutter the courts with lawsuits to make the VA Dems too busy defending against the lawsuits to even think about passing new laws. Let VA go broke defending itself against nuisance lawsuits! But that remains to be seen.
