Default Kress Violates Campaign Laws (Post Gazette)

He adds that Kress, an attorney, has no law enforcement experience and has already violated the law.

"He wants to be someone to enforce the laws, but yet when his campaign - when he had to turn in his campaign expense form - he hasn't turned it in yet," Mullen said.

    Delano: "He violated the law?"

Mullen: "He violated the law, he's violated the campaign laws. He was supposed to turn it in by last Friday."

"I apologize if it wasn't filed on Friday, but it's going to be filed today," Kress said.

Kress can't even keep track of his own paperwork. What makes you think he'll be any better with firearm permits??? He wants to be sheriff but has already violated campaign laws. MULLEN for sheriff!!!!!!

you minus well give it up, Mullen already lost the vote of gun owners. As you and he are probably just finding out, theres enough people in this county with LTCF that we can change the vote...

    Have a good retirement Mullen!

i'd be more than happy to chat with you about it... Gun owners get extremely scared when anyone says anything about not liking firearms, and he said he supports the AWB. Then when he closed the firearms division most people took that as his form of making them harder to get. It could have been a 100% financial decision to close that office on saturdays, but it cost him a couple thousand votes in all reality..

know what would make this a REALLY good discussion?

if there was some sort of CLUE to just WTF you people are talking about....as in WHO these folks are.

if this is just Pittsburgh area politics, maybe y'all should put in the specific county forum.

Apparently there is some discussion there already about sheriff whoever,

    like here:

mullen never said he "didn't like firearms"...he has been a cop for like 40 years...he has seen and done it all...he's been in gun battles, he has actually shot people...he himself carries a firearm at all times!! to say he is "anti-gun" cannot be farther from the truth...people read the original post and see "mullen said he wants to make it tougher to get guns" and don't realize that that quote was taken out of context...he was answering a question about career criminals...he closed the office on saturdays because the sheriffs office has been over budget for 20 years in a row...last year they were projected to be $3 mil over budget and when he "righted the ship" they were only $150,000 over budget...word is they will be UNDER budget this year for the first time ever!! as a firearm owner and someone who has dealt with mullen, i'm positive that he is the best qualified candidate and will be more than happy to work with firearm owners...there is a reason that like 31 out of 34 groups have endorsed him...kress tells people what they want to hear...kress also does not have any experience...i'm just not sure kress is the way to go...i'm not trying to change any minds...just simply stating the facts and expressing my views...may the best man win!!!
