Federal Ammunition Unveils New Deep-Penetrating .380 Hollow Point Ammo

At SHOT Show, Federal Ammunition will display its new expanding .380 auto ammunition, which the bullet maker pledges to be the first of its kind to consistently meet FBI protocol recommendations for penetrating at least 12 inches through bare ballistic gelatin as well as through heavy clothing.

Can't ignore that a significant part of the market wants to carry and shoot .380 auto.

I do get it, just not for me. If I'm going under a 9mm, I choose .38 spl. To me, the .38 snub is a timeless classic, carrying one just seems right, unless I've got the feeling that "today could be the day."
