Even though import marks will affect its value, no matter how discrete they may be, it is still a great price. The “gripper” pachmayr grips with Colt medallion were used for later bright stainless Pythons. The few I’ve seen in person though had the full horse logo as opposed to the head and front legs only that yours appears to have. That of course could be affected by year of production. I didn’t see a production year posted. Do you happen to know what it is? Whatever the case may be and even with the proof marks you can rest assured you can instantly get a return should you ever desire.

Probably takes that long for the gunsmith to polish all the rust pitting out and then reblue.

    Seriously, congrats!
