Scott Wagner
I sent a message to the campaign of Scott Wagner. I asked about Mr. Wagner's position on the second amendment and his stance on the state police keeping records on handgun purchases. This is the response I got:
Thank you for contacting the Scott Wagner for Governor campaign team
about Scott’s stance on the 2nd amendment.
Governor Wolf has used the school shooting epidemic to call for new gun
laws, instead of putting forth a comprehensive plan to protect our
schools. Scott Wagner opposes new gun restrictions without a complete
study of our background check system, and has instead proposed a
comprehensive school safety plan to protect our teachers, our students
and our schools.
Scott is a lifetime member of the NRA and has an ‘A’ rating from the NRA
and Firearm Owners Against Crime.
Thanks for reaching out to Scott Wagner's campaign for Governor.

Re: Scott Wagner
Who gives a shit. He's our only choice.
Any vote for a third party is a vote for a Democrat. You are the enemy.

Re: Scott Wagner
At this point I'll take any step in our direction even if it's not a giant step. I'd prefer a true 2A supporting candidate, but that's not happening at this point in time.

Re: Scott Wagner
He said comprehensive twice, but there may still be some hope.
He didn't say common sense.

Re: Scott Wagner
Is it true that he called the generation that fought in Korea and Vietnam, worked hard for decades, elected Ronald Reagan twice, weathered multiple recessions, the attacks on 9/11 and their aftermath, and the last recession/depression in 2008: "the most selfish generation in history"? And that he wants to tax retirement savings? That is what the TV ads are saying and I haven't heard him deny it.
