I fell victim to the darkside last Saturday with a used 2nd gen G19. Shot it at the shoot on Sunday and then went to Coraopolis on Tuesday and shot a shitload. Are there any Gun-Fu finger exercises one must learn to lessen the pain of such a healthy trigger pull? My finger actually hurts from shooting it. Am I just a wuss or is that truely a brick! I see a trigger job in my future. Maybe I should get in on the moon over my hammy crash course.

Well...I dunno, I can shoot mine all day long it seems....I wonder if someone did some mods to your gun to try and change things. Mine seems to have come from the factory with a 3.5 pound connector....I really like it. When you shoot a lot, do you let the trigger completely off, or shoot from the reset....I shoot from the reset most times....If I make the next shoot, you are more than welcome to try it out, and see if it;s different than yours

I would say completely off most of the time. And I'm sure thats my problem. I'm still getting used to the gun. It's alot different than shooting my 24/7. I've actually only shot one other Glock before this one. (Which is a crazy statement concidering I've been to 3 PAFOA shoots. Shame on me ) Will definately take you up on trying yours at the next shoot. Thanks

I think you are just not shooting enough. There are very few muscle groups on my body that are in shape. One is my trigger finger. Hope you can make it on 10/28 for Hans-Glock-Fest 07'.

I picked up the G17 last night and....well....it goes bang. I don't think that I am ever going to love the gun, but I ran 200 rounds through it and there were no hiccups. It definitely prefers the 124 gr AE's over the 115 gr AE's. I found it to shoot a little low, but that can be corrected with a taller rear sight. The gun was absolutely filthy (I can't believe it didn't jam) when I picked it up. After shooting, I cleaned it at the club and the guys were giving me shit about cleaning a Glock.

It came with a Galco leather holster, a 17 round mag, and two 10 rounders. Not a bad deal. As soon as the 9MM Hydroshocks come from Natchez, I'll load it up and banish it to truck duty forever.

XD, I got to see your new toy last night. Does that mean that we will be seeing you at IPSC practice? I've got lots of goodies for 16.40's!

Actually, I trust my life to a Sig P220, Smith 6906, or Smith 642. The Glock is there just in case I can't reach one of the others...
