OAKS 2 Day Show Aug 3rd & Aug 4th, 2019

I had a great time on Saturday as well. Bought a handgun that I had been seeking for a while at a great price plus two Japanese barrelled actions in great shape for a nominal price. I keep coming back to this show for good reason. Did Indian River Collectibles lower their prices for this show? I didn't bother to ask.

Hah NO, Indian River didn't have price tags on anything which means "if you have to ask you can't afford it." I overheard the owner at another booth, he was looking at a gun, and the vendor said "you know you're the only guy I'll take a check from, you should buy that gun" to which IR owner said" that's because I'm a rich SOB." Pretty obnoxious.

First Oaks show I missed in a long time. I instead was at a car show in Macungie on Saturday and had some other business to take care of Sunday. Looks like I didn't miss anything.

Your opinion on the Macungie show? First one that I have missed in quite a few years. Always try to make that show

Oct is good, it's success just got a little boost. Oaks isn't in Philthytown but that area has grown exponentially in the last ten years.

anxiety when he has to come down my way.

It may be Philadelphia region but it ain't Philadelphia. Arnold's is a great place to take your kids (or yourself) for some good go-kart racing, the outlet mall which is maybe 20-25mins away has plenty of stores to walk through, and there's more than enough restaurants in a short drive. My only complain about the area is traffic can be absurd. Especially around lunchtime and the early afternoon but you can blame that on 422 more than the area.

Having been around that area all my life the current level of congestion does aggravate me but I know the place like the back of my hand and can skirt most of it.

I saw a guy ask for a price on a rifle and walk away in disgust when he heard it
