Default is this legal to carry?

i can imagine by the price that its poor production, its listed as a double barrel shotgun, could it be legal without the 200 dollar stamp?

I believe it would technically be a pistol because it has a rifled barrel for the 45 colt, and its length. no different than the taurus judge as far as i can tell, so yes legal to carry

It's classified as a pistol because it's chambered in .45 long colt and has a rifled barrel. It just happens that it can also shoot .410 shells.

Leinad, is the latest in the SWD, FMJ, COBRAY line. Leinad is Danial backwards. Wayne Daniel was the owner of SWD and some of the other companies.

Quality is good enough. I would say it's safe to shoot, it's just very cheaply built from the design to the fit and finish.

I have the single 3" bbl version. Novel item, but that's about it. Think I paid $40 for mine.

Yes, its legal. I had (2) of the smaller barrel versions until they were stolen.

If it has rifling and no shoulder stock - its a pistol.

The rifling and lack of shoulder makes it exempt from the "sawed off shotgun" thing, which is technically the "smooth bore" law limit of 18", whether it shoots shotgun shells or single projectile bullets. It also makes it exempt for being a short barreled rifle.

It doesn't matter really what its chambered in - just that its bore is rifled, has a diameter less than .500" and has no shoulder stock. In all legal sense - it is a long chambered 45LC.

Is that law now? (been out of the loop last month or so)

It happened 4 years ago over T-Giving weekend while I was out of state. I did report it however immediately upon discovery - noticing kitchen window was broke and doing a quick look around to see if anything was taken.
