    WTF is this "split payment" shit? It's unbelievable how non-standard a process this is considering the law requires it to be standard across the state.

    Could be their call and if I had to wait I'd be OK with it. When I initially got my denial I got all but about $5.00 back in the envelope with the denial notice.

    According to Monroe County Sheriff's webpage you MUST pay in cash. I'm surprised they won't accept checks. If I was the sheriff I would insist on a check, credit or debit. There is no way I would force a cash only system as frequently as you see people getting caught dipping into these programs. If he is ever the target of a county, state or fed audit he better have thorough records. Cash only is the first step toward corruption. I wonder if they provide receipts.

    They provided me with a receipt today as well as 5 years ago.
