Default Gunlawyer001 Firearms Law Workshop, Session II

This is Session II of my Firearms Law Workshop. Starts at 1 PM on Sunday, March 27, should end before 5 PM, and we're coordinating this event with separate training by Jason Schafer at the same facility before lunch, contact Jason if you're interested in his highly-regarded instruction.

Price for my Firearms Law Workshop/ Session II is $50 per seat if you get your registration in the mail no later than March 19 (or pay $50 for Session II at the end of Session I on March 20th); after that, it's $75. You can register at the door for $75 if there's space left. NO RECORDING allowed, this has a heavy audience-participation bias, and we don't want anyone to be intimidated from asking questions or sharing real life experiences.

Topics to be covered in Session II:
    * The use of non-deadly force & defensive displays
    * The use of deadly force.
    * Self-defense, necessity, and justification
    * Duty to retreat, the Castle Doctrine, and "Stand your ground" laws - what they can do for you, and what they don’t do
    * What happens when the smoke clears: Aftermath of a shooting, civil & criminal
    * using NFA firearms for self-defense in the home or on the street
    * Other weapons - machine guns, switchblades, stun guns, bombs, lions and tigers and bears, oh my.
    * Paramilitary training - how much fun are you allowed to have?

The question sometimes comes up about the course discount.

    Here's how it works:

It's $50 per seat per session, if you make the early deadlines. That's $100 for one person to take Session I and Session II.

It's $75 per seat per session, if you miss the early deadline. No discounts on late enrollments.

If you sign up for 5 seats on one registration form, we knock off $50 from the total, so if you sign up 3 people for Session I and 2 people for Session II, enclose a check for $200 instead of $250. Seven seats would be $300 (another $50 per seat), but another discount kicks in at 10 seats, which would run $400.

I hope this is the right combination of incentives and simplicity. Just persuade 4 people to sign up with you, and one of you is free, or you all get in for just $40 each, which is not bad for a 4-hour workshop on a very important area of the law.

We too. Just waiting for confirmation that the Mrs will be off work for it so we can both attend.

If anyone is wondering about the value here, I have already attended Workshop II and I want to go again.

You see, although Phil has an organized structure to his presentation, he conducts it as an open discussion. Therefore, you can get a very different experience with each one because there will be different folks attending.

Well worth the money, and well worth the ride.

I wanted to thank all who participated in my latest Session I and Session II workshops, I always find these to be fun, and I hope you found them informative.

Special thanks to Jason Schafer, who coordinated his excellent live-fire classes at the same facility to allow the participants to multi-task and get some trigger time in before the discussions.

The workshop was very educational. I would consider attending again, as I think you can learn something new every time.
