.22LR Rifle Challenge
Ok....we got nice weather for shooting so lets see who wins the prize !
Target: http://www.reloadbench.com/pdf/files/50yd%20NRA.pdf
Gun: ANY .22LR Rifle. Bolt action, lever action or semi-auto all OK.
Distance: 50 yards
Sights: Iron Sights. NO SCOPES, NO RED DOTS, NO GLASS. Peep sights are OK. Keep it simple.
Ammo: .22LR of your choosing. Bulk, target, match...whatever you got in .22LR...use it.
Course: 5 shots standing freestyle. No benches, no resting on cover. Just 5 shots while standing offhand.
We will let this run until 4pm on October 21st. That gives everyone 30 days to get your targets shot and posted.
Best score wins!

Re: .22LR Rifle Challenge
Are we shooting for group or for score? Both? I am supposing that it's for score. I can get it done next weekend mayhap.

Re: .22LR Rifle Challenge
I figured for score since there are nice scoring rings on the target listed above. Should be easy to do. Not sure what we will do if there is a tie...but I am sure we will figure it out.

Of course, ya know, this means I'll have to adjust my sights (grumble, grumble)
Maybe I can stand still enough to get'em on to the target.

Re: .22LR Rifle Challenge
Well I thought I might as well try it. I got this "Rusty" Kimber from CMP that I haven't messed with much at all. It shoots much better than I do. Mark me down for a 38. Since there were 2 Bulls on the target I did it one more time for fun. I am not very good but at least I am consistently the same amount of bad!

Re: .22LR Rifle Challenge
First off, Saleen....that is a great Kimber Gov't 82 you have there!! I have been considering going through the motions and getting one thru the CMP myself.
Second.....not a bad score at all. I hope to shoot for score this week.
