Can you buy Colt Canada items in the US?

Was looking to get something like this for an AR pistol build:

It says no export on that item, but i was wondering if there was any real way you could purchase Colt Canada stuff in the US? I can't find any US distributors.

Maybe there's a chance that you could score one if you haunted the appropriate forum for the piece (I don't know what's out there for Colt AR). I'm impressed with what can be found in other things but when something rare and/or low priced shows up it goes fast.

If mil-spec as stated, whose mil? Presume Canada's?

Reading the specs, I don't see anything listed that isn't available or buildable in USA of USA supplies.

Maybe there is a dust cover available with a Canadian maple leaf.

The US gov would probably deem this part of a non sporting firearm and hence the barrel would be banned from import.

I've noticed various vendors footnote items cannot be exported. Some of the items seem pretty neutral with respect to gun restrictions. Must be typical of gun laws.

Some Diemaco/Colt Canada items have filtered through into the US through various legal means. A few A2 and A3 semi-auto Colt Canada carbines have been imported into the US with restricted markings for LEA sales and those have also filtered out into private hands when those LEAs decided to trade them in for something new.

Generally though its usually all luck finding genuine Diemaco/CC parts.
