If it does come off, I suggest not mentioning anti-Anything... bill it as "pro-Rights"... we don't want to come off as bitter Pennsylvanians.

You know that one Mom was gonna say "it's not ok to carry" but instead said something else.
Just attended the gun show last night and bought O/C holsters, depending on the weekend we're interested.

sounds like we have a handful of people intrested. hoping we can get more. if we can get it 20-30 people deep and call the news stations up, we could possibly be able to pull this off and increase awareness in the philadelphia region big time.
my goal: to get every good person in the philly region responsibly armed.

If we can get at least 20, with the assurance that someone called ahead and it's legal to OC at the zoo, and media coverage will be there, then I'm definitely in... because that's a good demonstration, worth the time and effort.

/plus I like feeding the peahens!

Funny you should mention that... once at a petting zoo a goat had half my tee shirt down his gullet before I could pull it back out. (eeeewwwww!)

    /I still like goats, though.

calling ahead of time to "check if its ok" to oc at the zoo... completely ruins the whole idea of a pro-oc event.. do you call a restaurant before you decide to put on blue sneakers? maybe they arent ok with that color.... you dont need to call ahead and ask if its ok if you are doing something legal. asking if its ok gives a presumption right off the bat that it is _not ok_

eta: i would attend as well as long as i had off work or knew far enough ahead of time (couple weeks) and i would take off that day

There ya go, I don't OC, but for those that do the above statement makes perfect sense to me, it is a legal activity why "ask for permission?"

    Damn skippy.

Need to see if we can get the guy that plays Ben Franklin for the public tours to show up to this.
