Default 1911 Gunsmith/Machinist in the area?

I have a SS Taurus 1911 that has some machining issues I wish to have fixed.

Mainly the slide serations on one side are deeper then the other.

Can anyone here fix this or know someone who can?

    Midway Gunsmith Locator

    U.S. Gunsmith Directory

    Gunsmith.com Listings

If I were you, I'd call Evolution Gun Works, www.egw-guns.com I think. They aren't in your neck of the woods, but it's one of the best shops in the country.
Removed NRA Life Member pic. LaPierre and Chris Cox are ruining NRA.

Uhh......why don't you see if Taurus will fix it?

If you're gonna sink money into a gun...I'd recommend starting with something a little better. If they can't machine slide serrations properly...what do you think the inside of the gun might be like?

I wouldn't pay money to fix what they have a responsibility to do in the first place.
