I don't know either (sorry) but remember that the York Fair is in the jurisdiction of the York PD. They don't exactly have the best track record with regard to 2nd Amendment issues.

I went to the fair Sunday. I didn't see any signs upon entering the fairgrounds, but I did see one at an entrance to the grandstand. It said "Bags subject to search. No weapons". At the time there was no one around to enforce it but I bet there will be for concerts. I can remember being patted down when I was there to see Staind play a few years ago.

SO.... as long as you have NO GUNS in BAGS..... and keep it in the holster on your hip...... you should not be violating their request:::

I think part of what you may be debating is the difference between open carry and ccw. Like.....you cant have a loaded gun in a car unless you have the CCW permit. I don't think anyone can tell you were you can or can't carry a weapon if you are a liscensed CCW except the state and they say courts and schools are no no's. One exception here maybe that I believe PA still has an alcohol clause with there firearms law ie> not allowed to have firearms in bars but not sure if thats ccw or open carry, i'll have to look.

The owner of any property or establishment can make their own rules about carry on their property. In fact, I require it on mine
