Right now it's a schedule one so almost no clinical trials, double blind studies and no research papers written with peer to peer reviews. The fed isn't making it legal just decriminalize it and take if off the schedule one so it's benefits or negatives can be legally and scientifically researched. Also allows states more control.

Clinical trials? I know some very smart , very wealthy , stand-up , hard-working folks who have been performing ''independent tests'' weekly , sometimes daily for 50yrs or more.

I'm not a big proponent of legalization, other than the tax revenue it would bring in. But this seems a lot like the Dems "guns kill people" line of thinking. Pot didn't kill your buddies brother, 2 people did and his decision to be in possession of a large enough quantity to make him a robbery target probably contributed.... Buy the ticket, take the ride. Not trying to be offensive, just kicking in my 2cents.

This I don't understand----tax revenue for what? To spend more ? Government never does the right thing and when they "legalize" items simply to "tax" them it's only to do one thing----Grow government. Every single item that is taxed increases their power and diminishes ours.
