Oh yes, that would go over big.
It' finds out intention vs just shooting someone who maynot deserve to be shot.

Unfortunately they are out there, even in Pike county...Saw the same type of thing a few weeks ago. Guy no idea of gun safety with a handgun looking at the Blackhawk Velcro holster. Takes loaded gun out and is trying it on as if a fitting room, About 5 customers standing around. My Daughter was there and made a mention of safety before I could say anything. Guy and his wife apologized and put the gun away safely then bought the holster and left.
One thing I do not understand, Why in the hell go to Walmart to buy a holster?? I get buy what you can afford, but if you bought the gun, you should be able to afford $50 for a decent holster.

We do need to police ourselves and should help in a kind way to inform others of safety when we can. As mentioned one bad apple can spoil the bunch. BUT sometimes we need to pick our battles...

Hodgie, Hope the rug bug is ok and in good health..

Political power grows from the muzzle of a gun.

So, did you confront the woman? Healthy confrontation is required in situations like that. It's a safety matter, as well as an educational opportunity.

She's obviously "for" guns and pro 2A, so I am confident that if you politely articulated why she must not do that as privately as possible, she most likely would change her MO.

Good story, and observation, but that alone does nothing to resolve/prevent at best bad press, and at worst the loss of life in the future.

Yes because no ignorant angry know it all A-holes with the James Yeager mentality ever purchased a handgun before. As far as confronting her I already answered that question earlier in this post.
