    Default As seen on TV.

I was just watching CSI and wondered how many of us do that every time we can...
Are any of you addicted to the police/military type shows out there? If so what ones...

I noticed the posts go down when ever these shows are on, so maybe im not the only "police" show addict.

I watch them when I notice they are on. I don't make a effort to watch them. The only shows I make an effort to watch are. . .

    Dead like me.

I've watched COPS since it started way back when. The wife and I also enjoy CSI (Las Vegas). I also really enjoyed FSF (Fugitive Strike Force) which ran on Discovery, but it appears to have gone away.

    Other than that, we enjoy:

    Nip/Tuck
    Dirty Jobs
    MythBusters
    Ghost Hunters
    A Haunting (Discovery)
    Survivor Man
    World Series of Poker

    That's pretty much it.

IMO, The Unit is the best show on Television right now. 24 will certainly be number 1 as soon as it starts up in January.... but The Unit is awesome. I schedule time with my fiancee around that show.. haha.

    My faves are:

    CSI (all 3 versions)

    NCIS

    Numbers

The Unit (Although I always laugh when I see the housing....That's not like any base housing I've ever seen, ESPECIALLY for enlisteds! Even the Officers' quarters aren't that nice!)

    Without a Trace

Other than that, I don't usually have time to watch anything else, and I frequently miss the above, due to school schedule.

I'm armed and menopausal...Excuse me, did you have something to say?

My top show right now is Heroes. That show is even cooler than I thought it would be.

Well Sir, I have 2 things in my defence... I dont have unlimited cable.. (Directv basic here) And I was limited to 10 choices.
Other then that, DIY has taken up much of my regular TV time these days. I particularly like Sweat equity on there.

I'm going to open myself up to a sound ribbing over this, but here goes. In my opinion, the most honest and (don't laugh) realistic military-themed TV show right now (and perhaps the smartest show in general) is:

    Battlestar Galactica

If you watch the new one, you already know what I mean. If you do not... you should. Forget everything you know about the old series and give this one a shot.
