To these "Progressives", the ends justfy the means. THEIR violence is justified, and righteous. The entire media except for a few small outlets are covering for them and jusifying their behavior. CNN, NBC/MSNBC (Comcast), ABC (Disney), CBS (maybe to a lesser degree), PBS, NYT, Washpo, AP, etc. All in the tank for the far left progressive and Antifa and BLM.

How about national legislation that would make it illegal to "protest" while wearing masks, gas masks, helmets, body armor or any other type of disguising costume. Arrest and prosecute them. Direct police authority to "protect and defend" any/all participants at any protest. Or... if you're a stand-your-ground conservative in a city that promotes Antifa violence, carry non-lethal defensive "tools"; i.e. pepper spray, collapsing batons, nets, etc..

The issue is governmental and political complacency and encouragement(money) followed by the trickle down into law enforcement.

The Constitution doesn't give Congress the power to regulate such. See Article I, Section 8, and some amendments as to what Congress has power to make laws on.
