Picked up a new AR today

Got one of these today.



I still need to get the optics for it and a few other parts. Picked this one up at the Cabelas in Hamburg. Got it for $350 + a $500 gift card I got from work. I though it was a pretty nice score.

Cant wait to shoot it.

i say skip the optics for now and go with more mags & ammo.
optics will always be around but ammo...
well, its currently competing with gas for the "most unbelieveable increase in price for the same effin product" award, so stock up while you can!
as for mags... well who knows what 2009 may bring in the area of gun control.
just my opinion, for what its worth.

I figured I would pick this up before the new rem 700 I wanted. I also think I will get a few mags rounded up. I picked up two 33 rounders for my glock and 1000 rounds of 223 for the new toy on saturday.

I just traded my Bullseye .45 for a Bushmaster DCM model. New toys are the most fun!!!! Anybody here shooting Highpower? I want to give it a go this season.
