You know, there are people who would put picatinny rails on their weiner if someone would market them.

    That is all.

Sig Sauer is unveiling their new Adaptive Carbine Platform at SHOT Show. It provides three advantages. It will accept virtually any pistol with a Mil Std 1913 rail without modification, it offers the increased stability of shooting a carbine and it expands the pistol’s adaptability by incorporating 1913 rails at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions as well as a full-length rail along the top of the weapon.
Seems like it fills an interesting role. The comments on the article piss all over it, though.

I should be picking up my new P220 any day now. If I knew this thing would fit, for sure (which I don't), I would NOT be putting installing one. May look cool in the movies??? That is all I am offering on the subject.

They may do better if they concentrate of producing quality guns instead if fancy finishes, a hundred differant model 226's and please stay out of the gadget business.

Sig flew the coop years ago and shit like this is proof.
