Berncly has a thread offering free GOA memberships. If he is out of donations, pm me your name & addy and I'll get you a 1 year gift membership to GOA.
“Joining” for free seems to negate the purpose of joining. I will consider keeping the NRA and adding
GOA. I guess my question is which organization works harder with *our money*. An extra $20-30 a year isn’t going to make me miss a mortgage payment, but it’s an additional expense/membership. Stuff adds up, just want to make sure my money is doing something.

If you don't support the NRA you're a liberal plant.

It was a letter from his agent, and JD asked that it not be posted publicly for some reason.

I'll give him 50 bucks and a Big Mac. That's about all I got...

I get more of a sense that he doesn't want to get sued or something. Can't really blame him. I suppose anyone can write to Nugents agent, ask for something, and get a similar letter.

Just to clear this up. The GOA gets another member and the dues ($$) for what an annual membership costs. It's $20 per year.

I'm not sure who funded the memberships that Berncly was supplying. My offer was/is genuine. I will send the GOA $20 if things are too tight for you to join both organizations. I do this for my wife, my father, and my brother. There are lots of gun owners that aren't in the fight, I try and change that 1 member at a time.
