There is a MG shot here in Ky at Knob Creek Gun Range where you can rent a flame thrower or MG, just to try it out. You can see this on knobcreekgunrange.com, shoots are 2x a year April and Oct.

At first glance, you'd think so, but would a flamethrower really produce the same effect as a head shot? Eventually it'd probably burn up the brain, but in the meantime, you have a bumbling, stumbling zombie setting ablaze everything they bump into. Could cause some undesirable collateral damage.

when I was a kid, I would use a can of WD-40, you know, with the little straw, and light the end of the straw on fire and squirt the WD-40 through it. When it hit the little green plastic army men, they would burn. But l think there is a warning on the new cans stating that any use other than the intended use, blah, blah, blah.

Just curious, Why would anyone want a flamethrower? A potato gun I can see,( them are fun) but a flamethrower? Man, who pissed you off THAT bad?

So, if I get a bunch of cans of WD-40, elongate the straws, duct tape them together, lay a board across the push nozzles.......hey, anybody got a lighter!?
