Internet Justice
Here is a local one.
Stupid philly kid breaks into house and steals a TV, an old laptop and an Xbox360.
When the victim gets a new xbox, he finds a voice mail on his Xbox-Live-account of some street-thug wannabe punk saying he's got his stuff and he'll sell it back to him.
Since the Police didn't want anything to do with it, the victim goes and enlists the help of the internetz.

Within a few hours, the kids picture, real name, home address, phone-number, his screen name of every single social site he's on, instant message, high-school location, parents names and phone numbers, and every last little piece of personal info you could find becomes available on the internet for people to see.
There is no justice quite like internet-justice.
