Doe tags

I normally get mine for 5c so I can buy one every day for the rest of the season if I wanted. This year they changed the doe season at camp. It's gone to the split season and I hunt second week so I'm going to try for one up there. If I get one, cool, if not I'll still get one for 5c. Either way if I get a buck I probably won't fill it.

only one or 2 WMU's actually sell out in the first round, last year my zone went 3 rounds

I hunt in one of those WMUs. 2G. Sold out last year on Wednesday. They increased the tags by around 7000. Now it looks like they will sell out Thursday. I know several people who did not get tags last year. I checked the web sight and I was awarded a tag on Wednesday.

I got mine yesterday. mailed it in on saturday morning. really love the new system that you can mail it to any county treasurer.

I mailed in for my 3C tags last Friday (8th) before the mail goes out, anytime before 11AM. I like to get it out on Friday so it is in the treasurers in box on Saturday. They are closed at that time but it is there waiting for them when they open on Monday. Anyway, I got my tags back on Wednesday (13th) which makes it seem that my plan works. Two years in a row I got my tags back by Wednesday.

Just to let you know I mailed in to Media for my 3C tags instead of Honesdale. Like I used to before the new system.

Got mine for 2E on Friday. 2G and sometimes 2F are the only real crapshoots if you get a tag or not.

Got mine for 1A... I haven't seen a deer during hunting season in 3 years, but I still apply for tags... lol
