Default PennsyPlinker stepping down as moderator

    All,

Just a note that PennsyPlinker has tendered his resignation as moderator, which I've reluctantly accepted. There's no drama or politics surrounding his decision, he just doesn't have the time lately to do the job as he feels it should be done.

I'll be updating his account to Emeritus status shortly.

I was wondering about Pennsy and then saw the thread yesterday saying he was busy and doing well. I enjoyed his post

Will there be a member elevated to replace him?

I'd offer my services, but if accepted, you'd probably have revolutionary revolt on your hands.

In all honesty, you and your moderators run a great forum. I have learned a lot of firearm related stuff here at PAOFA. You should be proud of what you created.

PennsyPlinker is a good man, and he did a fine job. Moderating is generally a thankless job, so . . . thanks.

I don't know him, but know from others that do that he is good people. As others have said a moderator is a thankless job and we are lucky to have some good ones here. I really like that he never banned me. Thanks PennsyPlinker. Before he steps down can he do a presidential pardon thing and lift the ban on topsy ?

Lots of jobs are thankless, and I'll bet that being a moderator is one of them.

Thanks Pensy for putting in your time keeping a great site going. Thanks for not banning me also. I'm sure there's been a time or two that I deserved it.

Thanks to all the mods. I think that you all do a really good job refereeing POOFA. You don't nitpick on the little crap, but clamp down when you should.

I'm not just ass-kissing either, I swear. I really mean it.
